Meet your instructor

Conor H. Murray, PhD Assistant Project Scientist, UCLA Conor H. Murray, PhD, is a neuroscientist at UCLA focused on the neurobiology of addiction and the therapeutic potential of psychedelics. His research explores how compounds like LSD, psilocybin, and cannabis impact brain function, using tools like EEG and fMRI to study their effects. He currently leads a pilot study on psilocybin for cocaine use disorder and is a key contributor to UCLA’s Psychedelic Studies Initiative, working to better understand consciousness, mental health, and brain plasticity through innovative clinical research. He is also featured in James Fadiman’s newest book, Microdosing for Health, Healing and Enhanced Performance.
